The filling inside is made from a mix of vegetables like cabbage, carrots, and peas, while the outer layer gets a delightful crispiness similar to that of “kurkure” (crispy snacks). Ingredients:

For the momo filling:

  • Cabbage, finely chopped
  • Carrots, grated
  • Peas (optional)
  • Onions, finely chopped
  • Ginger, finely chopped or grated
  • Green chilies, finely chopped (optional for heat)
  • Soy sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (for sautéing)

For the momo dough:

  • All-purpose flour (maida)
  • Pinch of salt

  • Cornflour (cornstarch)
