Ingredients:

  1. For the Vada (Potato Filling):
    • Medium-sized potatoes (boiled and mashed)
    • Sunflower oil
    • Mustard seeds
    • Cumin seeds
    • Green chilies (finely chopped)
    • Ginger (grated)
    • Turmeric powder
    • Garam masala
    • Red chili powder
    • Sugar (optional)
    • Salt to taste
    • Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
    • Lemon juice
  2. For the Coating:
    • Besan (gram flour)
    • Turmeric powder
    • Ted chili powder
    • Baking soda (optional)
    • Salt to taste
    • Water (to make the batter)
  3. For the Pav (Bread Roll):
    • Soft pav (available at most Indian bakeries)
  4. Chutneys (Optional but recommended):
    • Green chutney (made from coriander, mint, green chilies, and lemon juice)
